Since its inception in 1849, Lundakarnevalen has been a much anticipated highlight occuring once every four years during the spring in Lund. But how does a spontaneous parade turn in to a 3-day party arranged entirely by thousands of volunteering students? And how many beers are consumed along the way? Hugo Widell, Karnevalsgeneral. Born and raised in Lund, Hugo is the General for this year's Lundakarneval. After studying medicine and dedicating his free time at local spex-organisations he is now President of the Kommitté responsible for arranging Lundakarnevalen 2026.
